This is Freddie's Place.
Born from love, built from lived experience - a sensory regulation space for festivals and events where every kind of movement is welcome.

Spinning is valid.
Bouncing is valid.
Stillness is valid.
YOUR kind of calm is valid.

This space is inspired by Freddie. He has autism as a part of his complex profile and he has taught me that calm doesn't look the same for everyone.

While quiet spaces more commonly exist at events and festivals, there was nowhere for the spinners, the bouncers, the stimmers - the ones who regulate through movement and joy. To regulate in a place that feels safe. So we built it.

Hammock chairs, spinning seats, sensory lights, exercise balls, a blackout space and more.

A judgement free space to explore, regulate and just BE.

For neurodivergent folk.
For overwhelmed humans.
For carers who need a moment.
For everyone.

This is a space to find regulation without having to leave the main festival space - truly inclusive, not an add on last minute consideration!

Not sure what you need?
Come and explore and find out - What's your kind of calm?
