Farm and Fell
"Our home away from home"

Farm and Fell, Birks Farm is situated on 20 acres of land in a remote and quiet area that is nestled under the views of Howgill and Barbon Fells on the border of Cumbria and the Yorkshire Dales National Park.

It is a stunning location with its own private ancient woodland and sits alongside the River Rawthey where it meets the River Dee. The Dalesway footpath runs along the edge of the site, and if you fancy escaping for a while, there are woodland and fell walks a plenty.  Whilst you can use the River Rawthey from the site, it also boasts a pool, just a 2-minute walk away which is a wild swimmers dream!  The town of Sedbergh, which is a small market town in east Cumbria is just a 10-minute walk away.. The site is full of magic, with no light pollution so star gazing is a must!!

Farm and Fell is managed woodland and facilities are in tune with and respect the local environment, and we ask visitors to do the same.  Private fires are allowed and bricks are provided free of charge from the site so you can build your own private fire and purchase wood from the site.  There is a good-sized communal fire pit which will be made available every evening for all LoveHerder guests to enjoy.

The site provides toilets, showers, drinking water and washing up facilities with warm water. We will also make spring water available to purchase if that is your preference.

The approaching road and site will be displaying LoveHerder banners, which will be obvious as you head towards Farm and Fell campsite. Once you arrive onto the site you will be met by staff who will direct you to reception where you will sign in and then you will be directed to your camping pitch for you to unload and then to the designated parking area . All cars and live-in vehicles must display a permit in their front window throughout the event.
